Hiring Experienced Industrial Painter for full time employment at our Oshawa location!
$28-$35/hour based on level of experience
Painter will be responsible for ensuring that all parts are sprayed to a consistently high quality in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities will include the identification of defective products, performing all work in a safe manner, cleaning and maintaining painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment. The Industrial Painter is responsible for tending to and operating machines that spray/coat products with paint, and machines that bring a quality finish to the product.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
The General Fabricator/Assembler assists in the fabrication and assembly of signs, packaging, shipping, receiving, housekeeping or other duties as assigned. This position may also require the ability to drive a forklift.
• Fabricate letters from metal or acrylic
• Assemble letters by trim capping/clinching
• Caulk, wire, test LED’s for channel letters and various types of signs
• Trim capping
• Router plastic for sign faces
• Bend/install cans on faces
• Cut/prep/assemble frames
• Cut aluminum and dibond
• Cut/stain wood
• Bend/build sign bases
• Move completed signs to assigned areas
• Notify supervisor of low inventory levels for LED’s and other materials
• Pack items for shipping/build shipping crates
• Assist loading and unloading trucks
• Drive forklift if licensed
• Ship & receive deliveries
• General housekeeping
• Assist other team members as required
• Skills and Requirements
• Completion of secondary school
• Fork Lift Certification
• Competent use of power and hand tools: router, sander, drills, shears, brake, clinch,
• table/mitre/chop saw(s), hammer, files, screwdrivers
• Knowledge of Accubend machine
• Mathematical & mechanical aptitude
• Manual dexterity
• Ability to follow detailed directions
• Good communication skills, oral and written
• High attention to detail
